This doesn’t even include the automated earth moving startups like Bedrock and Lumina. This week, Mariana Minerals announced $85 million in funding from a16z and YC to build a software-first mining company. Hot sector.

Exodigo, a 4-year-old Palo Alto, CA startup that provides subterranean mapping platform for the construction and infrastructure industries, raised a $96.0 million Series B led by Zeev Ventures and Greenfield Partners with participation from 10D VC, SquarePeg, JIBE, Vintage Partners, and Leblon Capital. Rune Technologies, a 1-year-old Arlington, VA startup that provides AI-powered predictive logistics solutions for the military, raised a $24.0 million Series A led by Human Capital with participation from Pax VC, Washington Harbour Partners, a16z, Point72 Ventures, XYZ Venture Capital, and Forward Deployed VC. Foundation EGI, a 2-year-old Los Altos, CA startup that provides engineering general intelligence (EGI) platform, raised a $23.0 million Series A led by Translink Capital with participation from RRE Ventures, McRock Capital, Escape Investment Management, Fifth Growth Fund, E14 Fund, UNION, GRIDS Capital, and Henry Ford III.
