Matter Venture Partners co-led the round; this is the fund’s seventh investment since raising its $300 million Fund I earlier this year. 17 startups raised a combined $378 million.

Agrolend, a 4-year-old Sao Paulo, Brazil startup that provides a digital lending platform for agricultural businesses, raised a $53.0 million Series C led by Creation Investments and Syngenta Group Ventures with participation from Vivo Ventures, L4, Norinchukin Bank, Valor Capital, Lightrock, Yara Growth Ventures, and SP Ventures. BasiGo, a 3-year-old Nairobi, Kenya startup that provides an electric public transportation platform in Africa, raised a $42.0 million Series A led by Africa50 with participation from Novastar Ventures, CFAO Kenya, Mobility54, SBI Investment, Trucks VC, Moxxie Ventures, and Susquehanna Foundation.
