Heatio, a 2-year-old Liverpool, U.K. startup that provides a home energy optimization platform, raised a $2.4 million Seed led by Ascension with participation from Conduit Connect, The Syndicate Room, Baltic Ventures, LYVA Labs, and Neil Norman. More here.

Exits

Coyote Logistics, an 18-year-old Chicago, IL company that provides a tech-enabled freight brokerage, was acquired by RXO, the large public logistics provider, for $1.0 billion. The sale comes nearly a decade after UPS bought Coyote for $1.8 billion. More here.
